Great place to charge batteries internally. The roads were a bit rough because of the ice. The furniture was not particularly comfortable and the heating upstairs did not work. Still, it was nice to have a warm, dry place to return to each day. Thank you

Cozy cottage with wood burner and everything you need for a comfortable stay. It's about a 10 minute drive from the Mazama store (in the woods).

Absolutely beautiful property and very peaceful.

The cabin was air conditioned which was a HUGE bonus when the temperatures reached over 100 degrees Fahrenheit. The entire cabin was clean and easy to access. The wifi worked and we were able to stream videos in the evenings. The laundry facilities were great. The kitchen was well laid out and the dining room was big enough for the four of us. The cabin allowed us to have a lot of fun! The only difficulties in the cabin were the lack of a shower in the bathroom on the second floor and the need to drive several miles from the cabin to the caretaker to pick up and drop off the keys.

We had a great weekend at the Methow and enjoyed our stay at this quaint cabin. The kitchen is well equipped.

We enjoyed our stay. Nice kitchen with all the amenities we needed. The beds were comfortable. The view was beautiful. We enjoyed the wood stove after a day of cross country skiing. In winter you definitely need a 4x4 to get on the roads, especially when there is fresh snow. The only negative was that you had to pick up and drop off the house key at Mazama Inn instead of having an entry code at the house. Otherwise there are no real problems.

The cabin was comfortable, warm and had a beautiful view! The fireplace was cozy and we had most of the comforts of home. We will definitely stay here again. Internet also seemed to work quite well during our stay. The area is perfect for winter activities!

Beautiful place in the settlement of Edelweiss, east of Mazama. Great hiking, biking and cross-country skiing trails nearby. The people who manage the property for the owners are professional and helpful. The place is very clean, there are enough basic items in the cupboard so you don't need to bring salt and pepper. There's even a Bluetooth speaker for your MP3s. Coyotes can be heard at night, but not much else; At least the neighbors are quiet. Winthrop and Mazama are quite "urban" to us as we come from Lopez Island in San Juan, but probably counts as desert to big city folks. We suspect that for people buying the latest Porsche SUV to show off on Mercer Island, the last mile to the cabin might be their first time using all-wheel drive when there's a lot of snow. In a nutshell? We hope to return.
